ILSouth Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - July 15, 1994 <br />14 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />community, urging them not to invest in South <br />Bend. In my opinion, that is unprecedented. It's <br />never been done before. Now I can't prove to the <br />world, or to anyone, that the delay of the year <br />was because of your letters, but you have an <br />opinion about the delay and, obviously, I have a <br />different opinion. I think I have as much of a <br />right to my opinion as you have to yours. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1272, a <br />Supplemental Appropriation Resolution of <br />the City of South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: 1) an affidavit <br />from the South Bend Tribune stating that the <br />Notice of Public Hearing was published in <br />that newspaper on July 1, 1994 setting time <br />of Public Hearing as July 15, 1995, 10:00; <br />a.m. ; and 2) an affidavit from the Tri- <br />County News stating that the Notice of <br />Public Hearing was published in that <br />newspaper on July 1, 1994 setting time of <br />Public Hearing as July 15, 1995, 10:00; <br />a.m. There was no objection and the items <br />were so entered. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1272 appropriates $134,856.96 from the <br />Airport Economic Development Area Tax <br />Increment Allocation Area. This money is <br />proceeds of land sales that have occurred in <br />the last couple of weeks. The money is to <br />be appropriated for local public <br />-7- <br />
