NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />1. continued... <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that The Troyer <br />Group has submitted a proposal to do cost <br />estimates for a proposed Studebaker <br />Museum at each of three locations: 1) the <br />corner of Michigan and Western Avenue; 2) <br />a site outside of the downtown area; and 3) <br />remodeling of and addition to the existing <br />Studebaker Museum. The total cost will be <br />$7,440. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Proposal from <br />The Troyer Group for architectural services <br />related to the Studebaker National Museum. <br />m. Staff report on acquisition of property in the <br />West Washington- Chapin Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that some time ago the <br />Commission sent a purchase offer for <br />property located at 214 S. Chapin Street to <br />L & H Leasing Corporation. Our purchase <br />offer was in the amount of $2,600. We <br />have received a counter offer in the amount <br />of $3,750. The staff recommends accepting <br />the counter offer. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the counter offer <br />from L & H Leasing Corporation in the <br />amount of $3,750 for property located at <br />214 S.
