South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - July 1, 1994 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1263. a <br />Supplemental Appropriation Resolution of the <br />City of South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission. (Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area) <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items be <br />entered into the record: 1) an affidavit from <br />the South Bend Tribune stating that the <br />Notice of Public Hearing was published in <br />the South Bend Tribune on June 17, 1994; <br />and 2) an affidavit from the Tri- County News <br />stating that the Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published in the Tri- County News on June <br />17, 1994. Ms. Auburn asked if there was <br />any objection to these items being entered <br />into the record. There was no objection and <br />the items were so entered. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1263 appropriates tax increment funds in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area in the <br />amount of $1,471,038. These tax increment <br />proceeds were either currently on hand or <br />part of the tax settlement the end of June. <br />The funds will be used for local public <br />improvements as defined by state law in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Ms. Auburn opened the public hearing for PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 1263 <br />whomever wished to speak regarding <br />Resolution No. 1263. There was no one who <br />wished to speak. Ms. Auburn closed the <br />public hearing for whatever action the <br />Commission desired to take. <br />4 <br />
