NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />q. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized the use of the <br />Commission -owned lot on the northwest <br />corner of Main and Sample by Schafer Gear, <br />subject to providing proof of insurance and <br />getting assurance from the Building <br />Commissioner that the temporary parking lot <br />does not violate any zoning ordinance. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the bond for financing <br />the College Football Hall of Fame has been sold <br />and closed. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that Blackthorn Golf Course <br />is coming along nicely. Its opening is scheduled <br />for September. There will be a tournament held <br />there in mid - August. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that Nimtz Parkway Phase <br />11 is well under way. It should be completed by <br />the end of August. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that Briarwood Apartments <br />are under construction in Monroe Park.
