South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 6, 1994 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />d. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1248 <br />approving an application for real property <br />tax deduction for property located at 421 S. <br />Main Street and 201 W. Monroe Street in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Leo J. Priemer and Melvin B. McCallum) <br />e. Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Waiver in connection with the <br />Rental Rehab Loan Program for p=o rt X <br />located at 515 N. Harrison. (Ellis Howell) <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that items. 6.e., 6. f. , <br />6.g., and 6.h. are Certificates of Waiver <br />related to the Rental Rehab Program. Under <br />the program, 10 % of the Rental Rehab Loan <br />will be forgiven each year if the <br />requirements of the program are met. The <br />owner must keep the property in good <br />repair, maintain adequate insurance on the <br />property, pay all property taxes and market <br />the rental units affirmatively for fair <br />housing. <br />The property at 515 N. Harrison has met the <br />requirements for the years 1991, 1992, <br />1993, and 1994. This Certificate of Waiver <br />waives $670.50 as of April 1, 1991, 1992, <br />1993, and 1994. <br />6.
