Commission approval requested for Proposal <br />from Peirce & Associates for professional <br />services in the Studebaker Corridor portion <br />of the Sample -Ewing Dg�Lelo pment Area. <br />(Survey services for Block #10) <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Block #10 is the <br />block which has posed complicated <br />acquisition and disposition problems for us <br />in the past. As part of out Contract for Sale <br />of Land with American Medical Oxygen and <br />Old Fort Building Supply we committed to <br />making curb and sidewalk improvements. <br />The right -of -way is not the same width <br />along this block —it is wider at one end than <br />the other and we need to determine where <br />the curbs are to be placed. The engineers <br />who are designing the improvements need <br />extensive survey work done before they can <br />do their work. Peirce has done the previous <br />survey work on that block. They will <br />provide the additional services at a cost of <br />$3,200 and complete the work in 28 <br />working days or less. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Sharp and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Proposal from <br />Peirce & Associates for professional services <br />in the Studebaker Corridor portion of the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />n. Commission approval requested for AgencX <br />Agreement for the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area Redevelopment Project. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that we would like <br />the Board of Public Works to act as our <br />-19- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM PEIRCE & ASSOCIATES FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br />STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR PORTION OF THE <br />SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
