South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - March 31, 1994 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to consider items <br />6.i., 6. j . , 6.k., and 6.1. at the top of the agenda. <br />There were no objections and the items were <br />moved to the top of the agenda. <br />i. Commission authorization requested to sign <br />Tax Abatement Petition on behalf of BHD <br />Properties LLC (dba: Dearborn Crane & <br />Engineering Co.l. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that BHD Properties <br />(Dearborn Crane) has petitioned for tax <br />abatement on their new building and <br />equipment to be constructed in the Toll Road <br />Industrial Park. Since the Redevelopment <br />Authority owns the real property and will be <br />leasing it to Dearborn Crane, the Authority <br />must sign the real property tax abatement <br />petition on behalf of Dearborn Crane. The <br />Commission, as lessee, must also sign the <br />petition. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized signing the real <br />property tax abatement petition on behalf of <br />BHD Properties LLC, dba: Dearborn Crane <br />& Equipment Co. <br />C <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED SIGNING THE <br />REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT <br />PETITION ON BEHALF OF BHD PROPERTIES <br />LLC, DBA: DEARBORN CRANE & <br />EQUIPMENT CO. <br />
