NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />e. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1221 <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 210 South <br />Michigan Street in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (One Plaza Place <br />Associates) <br />f. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1223 relating �quisition of <br />property within the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area by Eminent Domain. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution No. <br />citwi 1223 sets the offering price for 35 properties <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />This would authorize the sending of purchase <br />offers, with the right of eminent domain if <br />agreement cannot be reached on a purchase <br />price. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Sharp and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1223 <br />relating to acquisition of property with the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area by Eminent <br />Domain. <br />g. Staff report on acquisition of property in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we have received nine <br />counter offers that the staff recommends <br />accepting. The first is from Mabel Hall for a <br />vacant lot located at 405 Wenger Street.
