OLD BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Resolution No. 1214 <br />was on the January 4 agenda and was tabled <br />at that time. We want to withdraw it from <br />consideration. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission withdrew Resolution No. 1214 <br />from consideration. <br />b. Staff report on Proposal for Disposition <br />Parcel B in the Studebaker Corridor portion <br />of the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />(Old Fort) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that on September 3, 1993 <br />the Commission received a bid from Old Fort <br />Building Supply for Parcel B in the <br />Studebaker Corridor portion of the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. Parcel B contains <br />.69228 acres. Old Fort offered the minimum <br />offering price of $12,750, but, as part of <br />their bid, they offered to sell land in the <br />block north of Broadway for $45,750 which <br />was a counter offer to the Commission's <br />offer of $26,000. Their bid also included an <br />offer of $8,000 for property owned by the <br />Commission located on the corner of Main <br />and Broadway. They propose to consolidate <br />their operation onto a single block while <br />allowing for parking on the northwest corner <br />of Main and Broadway. <br />Subsequent to receipt of the bid the staff was <br />made aware that the financing plan for Old <br />Fort's consolidation had been revised.
