NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />f. continued... <br />(the Redevelopment Director) and sets the <br />Design Review Committee as an appeal body. <br />The ordinance will receive first reading on <br />March 8 and will be considered at a public <br />hearing on March 22. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we intend to send this <br />final draft to some other parties and solicit their <br />comments before adopting a final version. <br />g. Commission Mproval requested for Resolution <br />No. 1144 approving the sublease of real <br />property to the City of South Bend. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we wish to sublease the <br />house at 628 Rush Street to the Board of Public <br />Works which will, in turn, sublease it to the <br />Housing Development Corporation for <br />rehabilitation. This is similar to other <br />resolutions we have approved. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1144 <br />approving the sublease of real property to the <br />City of South Bend. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the staff has finally <br />completed a Developer's Handbook which contains <br />procedures and processes for securing permits for <br />development in the City of South Bend.
