NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />d. continued... <br />deleting the reference to the Commission <br />paying interest on outstanding bills. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Sharp and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Cole Associates, as amended, for Phase I <br />Environmental Assessment for Blackthorn <br />Office Park and Toll Road Industrial Park in <br />the Airport Economic Development Area. <br />e. Commission approval requested for proposal <br />from Economics Research Associates for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Horton explained that the City is about <br />to proceed with preparation for the long <br />term financing for the College Football Hall <br />of Fame. The long term financing will have <br />several review processes. We think it will <br />be important to have an independent <br />feasibility analysis done by a respected firm, <br />to assist all reviewing parties in making their <br />decisions. The city has already prepared <br />some projections, but, as the project has <br />progressed, there are some other areas <br />identified as potential sources of revenue <br />that were not previously considered. This <br />report will include those opportunities. <br />Economics Research Associates is the best <br />in its field.
