South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Special Meeting - June 19, 1992
6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.)
c. Commission approval requested for use of
the Senor Kelly's Parking Lot by
Community Affairs on July 3, 4, and 5,
1992.
Mrs. Kolata explained that we closed on
the purchase of the Senor Kelly's parking
lot on June 17. Community Affairs would
like to use the lot during the Ethnic
Festival. Since the Commission is now
the owner of the lot, it needs to give
permission. The other City lots used
during the Ethnic Festival are managed
for the Commission by Center City
Associates who authorize such use.
Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded
by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried the
Commission authorized the use of Senor
Kelly's Parking Lot by Community Affairs
for the Ethnic Festival on July 3, 4, and
5, 1992.
d. Appointment of member to Development
Design Committee.
Mrs. Kolata noted that Jim Cook who has
been a member of the Design Review
Committee since its inception is moving
to Colorado and has resigned from the
committee. He has been a good committee
member with good design sense and helpful
suggestions.
The staff suggests the Commission appoint
Patt Crowley from Holladay Corporation to
replace Jim on the committee for the
remainder of his term, the end of 1993.
Patt will bring to the committee her
experience in the development field and a
good sense of design also.
-4-
COMMISSION AUTHORIZED USE OF THE
SENOR KELLY'S PARKING LOT BY
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THE ETHNIC
FESTIVAL ON JULY 3, 4, AND 5,
1992
THERE WAS NO STAFF REPORT
