APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (Cont.) <br />4 <br />STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR continued... <br />Thomas General Construction <br />St. Joseph County Recorder <br />Peirce & Associates <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission formally approved the claims <br />submitted June 19, 1992. <br />There were no communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no old business. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to add item 6.e. to <br />the agenda. There was no objection and it was so <br />added. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval reauested for <br />Resolution No. 1069 authorizing <br />reimbursement to the City of South Bend <br />for expenditures made within the Rum <br />Village Industrial Park. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that at the time the <br />New Energy and Airco plants were built in <br />the Rum Village Industrial Park, the City <br />spent approximately 1.2 million from the <br />cumulative sewer fund for improvements in <br />that area. Those expenses are eligible <br />to be reimbursed from tax increment in <br />the area. We have given partial <br />reimbursements on two different <br />occasions, the first in the amount of <br />Lv� $26,589 and the second in the amount of <br />$260,000. That leaves a balance of <br />-2- <br />20.00 <br />8.00 <br />120.00 <br />TOTAL $ 6,484.00 <br />GRAND TOTAL $ 6,925.32 <br />COMMISSION FORMALLY APPROVED THE <br />CLAIMS SUBMITTED JUNE 19, 1992 <br />FOR PAYMENT <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
