NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />IM <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Resolution <br />No. 1066 is related to the bond issue for <br />the purchase of the Palais Royale. The <br />resolution notes that the Commission <br />previously held a public hearing on the <br />proposed lease; that the Common Council <br />approved the proposed lease; that the <br />Local Property Tax Control Board held a <br />hearing on the lease on May 27 and gave a <br />favorable recommendation to the State <br />Board of Tax Commissioners; and that the <br />Redevelopment Authority approved <br />execution of the lease on June 5, pending <br />approval by the State Tax Board. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the lease is in <br />substantially final form; we will need to <br />approve an Amendment to Lease, after the <br />bond is sold, to reflect the actual <br />numbers based on the bond sale. <br />Upoa a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ar. Doncho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved Resolution No. <br />1066 approving execution of a Lease <br />between the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Aut ority and the South Bend <br />Red velopment Commission for certain land <br />and a building located thereon, and <br />rea rdina other related matters. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Resolution <br />No. 1067 states that the Redevelopment <br />Aut ority intends to issue bonds in the <br />-3- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1066 APPROVING EXECUTION OF A <br />LEASE BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN LAND AND A <br />BUILDING LOCATED THEREON, AND <br />REGARDING OTHER RELATED MATTERS <br />
