Historic Landmarks Foundation has <br />set aside $2000 toward a feasibility <br />stu v for its reuse. <br />Ms. Barbara Steele, Southhold . <br />Restoration, indicated that Southhold <br />would be willing to be the channel for <br />donated money for a feasibility study and <br />would commit $500 toward the study. She <br />alt noted that some of the funds would <br />com from outside of this community. <br />Mr. Jim Galvas, Schelle & Assoc. stated <br />he as hired by Bill Weaver, owner of the <br />Southern Hotel, to find a buyer for the <br />building. Mr. Galvas feels that the <br />Commission should give Hope Rescue <br />Mis ion an opportunity to pursue their <br />int rest in the building. Reuse of the <br />building would save the City considerable <br />mon y in acquisition and demolition <br />cos s. <br />Ms. Auburn asked if anyone else wanted to <br />speak. When there was no one else who <br />wished to speak, she thanked those who <br />had come on behalf of Hope Rescue Mission <br />and the Southern Hotel. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Mr. Herceg has <br />reqjested payment for additional items <br />related to the Colfax Theater <br />dem lition. Mr. Herceg's request has <br />been discussed with the City Engineering <br />Department and our attorney. We feel <br />thaz the items listed are a fair increase <br />in he contract. We are recommending <br />tha we increase the amount of the <br />con ract by $5,960. <br />we <br />
