Contractor will be responsible for spring clean-up early in the year whenever the <br />weather allows. Leaves, small branches and debris shall be cleaned up from the <br />grounds and along all fence lines. This job shall be completed before better <br />weather conditions allow frequent visitation to the cemeteries. <br />15. Contractor shall exercise extreme care when operating around cemetery <br />monuments. Contractor will be held responsible for any damage to any <br />monuments or any other parts of the property as a result of negligence or <br />improper operations. Any necessary damages must be repaired by appropriate <br />skilled contractor that is approved by Venues Parks & Arts for the work. <br />16. Special Attention shall be given to the condition of the cemeteries before the <br />holidays of Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July, Veteran’s Day, <br />and Labor Day. <br />17. Commencing November 1st, 2019 and throughout the remainder of the calendar <br />year the Contractor will mulch all leaves on a weekly basis. As part of this Scope <br />of Work the Contractor shall not dispose of the leaves and other yard debris <br />resulting from the cleanup that in any way would expose the Owner to any <br />liability. Owner will be responsible for hauling away piled leaves along the road. <br />The owner understands that snow may prevent this mulching process <br />3. Mentorship Program <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: None <br />B. Additions: <br /> <br />1. Contractor will ensure all youth employees that require a work permit have <br />obtained one. <br /> <br />2. Contractor will make “good faith” effort to create a diverse work force to <br />include race, ethnicity, and gender and be able to document policy. <br /> <br />3. Provide detailed description of mentorship program in place and how members <br />are selected and affected by the program. <br />4. Contractor will provide set of goals for the mentorship aspect of the program. <br /> <br />
