South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meoting - April 12, 1991
C•9
IloaVX *qk
the Redevelopment Commission is
ged with looking at the whole area
doing what is best for the whole
.. You're right, that does sometimes
age over time. What is true today may
be true two to three to four years
L now.
MR LANG: This may have nothing to do
wilh our area, but it kind of reminds me
of this 2010 Project out there where they
want to make condemnation to build a golf
? Those are the kind of things
thiit scare me.
. KOLATA: Well, the Airport project
is. not just to build a golf course. The
AJiport project has a very specific set
of goals for business development,
irktustrial development, and office
development. It's been distorted to be
t it is only a golf course and that is
vei y far from the case. But the
cpl rtunity to remonstrate is there every
stA p of the way. I think the Commission
hag a history of listening to the public
responding to the ccmmients that are
HARD WHITE: We own a place in the
0 block. I wonder if I could get the
es of you folks. I know Phil, and
. Kolata.
MS AUBURN: You said you know Phil
Facxenda. This is Sandy Combs. I'm Paula
and this is Roman Piasecki.
KOLATA: There is one other
Cornissioner who is not here today. That
is Michael Doncho, for the record.
Ms Auburn asked if there was anyone else PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOIDTION
who wished to be heard concerning NO. 986.
Resolution No. 986. There was no one
else who wished to be heard. Ms. Auburn
cicsed the public hearing for whatever
a ion the Commission desired to take.
-10-
