The Common Council will not hear any bills or conduct public hearings on any issues. This is being done in compliance with Governor Holcomb’s Executive Orders. In further compliance with the Executive Orders, the South Bend Common Council meeting will be legally held by way of a virtual meeting by using Microsoft Teams app. There will be no Council Committee Meetings before the Council meeting. The Council Meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Public access to the meeting can be granted by this link: https://tinyurl.com/SBCC042720. As usual the proceedings can be viewed live on the South Bend Common Council Facebook page as well as on WNIT Public Access Channel 99. The Common Council will hear an update from the City Administration regarding the Coronavirus-19 pandemic and related issues. The Council President will entertain a motion to suspend the rules to defer the Privilege of the Floor to a subsequent Council meeting.
