<br />Earl'er this week St. Joseph County
<br />Audi or Beverly Crone sent us her
<br />cert'ficate concerning the remonstrance
<br />to tie $4,900,000 Studebaker Corridor
<br />gene al obligation bond issue. She
<br />cert'fied that of the 3,528 total
<br />signatures on the remonstrance petition,
<br />2,825 were owners of taxable real
<br />prop rty in the redevelopment district
<br />and 702 were not. Thus, the remonstrance
<br />was iinsuccessful.
<br />I hare very briefly reviewed copies of
<br />the :emonstrance petition and have
<br />noti ed some irregularities on the
<br />coun erparts that I would like you to be
<br />awarB of. Since the petition process was
<br />len hy, I know it is possible that some
<br />property owners could have forgotten that
<br />they once signed another one. I found
<br />numerous duplicate signatures on various
<br />coun erparts and want to bring the
<br />foll wing names to your attention:
