NEW BUSINESS <br />d. continued... <br />e. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that we have not <br />received a response to the telefaxed <br />letter and the staff recomTends ending <br />exclusive negotiations with the hotel <br />dev loper for these parcels. If they <br />ccap up with a satisfactory proposal for <br />the exterior, we would be willing to <br />consider it, but will no longer limit <br />negctiations for that property to their <br />Drarosal. <br />Mr. Nimtz asked that the record show that <br />the developer was asked to reply by 9:15 <br />a.m. South Bend time and no response has <br />received. <br />Mrs.1 Kolata noted that 9:15 a.m. South <br />Bend time is 8:15 a.m. their time. <br />Upor a motion made by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Mr. Piasecki and unanimously <br />carried, the cc mission ended the period <br />of exclusive negotiations with the hotel <br />developer for parcels C4 -3 and C4 -30 in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />The Connission. indicated their <br />willingness to consider another proposal <br />frau. them for these parcels at a later <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that a couple of the <br />projects to be funded by the TIF bond are <br />improvements along Niles Avenue from <br />le Street to Washington Street and <br />improvements to Washington Street frost <br />Niles Avenue to Hill Street.
