The only item remaining to complete is the fountain. <br />Due to the weather the contractor was unable to finish the fountain therefore we were <br />unable to turn it on to complete all the necessary testing so the contract was extended to <br />th <br />May 9 (C.O. #14) due to Value Engineering negotiations. Due to the City extending the <br />completion date it was decided by Engineering to reduce the retainage from 5% to 1%. <br />With the 1% ($187,147.89) withheld it will easily cover any issues that could arise with the <br />fountain startup. <br /> <br /> If I can be of additional assistance, please do not hesitate to call me at extension <br />5920. <br /> <br /> <br />
