He <br />r <br />ed having his own Senior <br />Prom -bi <br />the ballroom of the Palais <br />Royale <br />He was pleased to have <br />guests <br />present this morning to <br />hear the <br />report of what the City <br />desires <br />to do with this building <br />and the <br />other cultural places in <br />downtioOm <br />South Bend. <br />Mr. Njixtz <br />introduced Mayor Kernan, <br />who st, <br />ited that we are here to <br />unveil <br />a vision for this building, <br />the Morris <br />Civic Auditorium, the <br />State <br />eatre and possibly the <br />Avon Theatre. <br />Many groups have <br />made stqgestions <br />of what they <br />would <br />like to see happen in South <br />Bend. <br />Last year the Redevelopment <br />Commission <br />hired Daniel Pierotti <br />of Daniel <br />Pierotti and Associates <br />of Madison, <br />Wisconsin to assess <br />the silmation. <br />He has been <br />involy <br />in $89,000,000 worth of <br />constniction <br />over the last ten <br />years across <br />the United States <br />includes <br />New Brunswick, N.J., <br />Winston-Salem, <br />N.C., El Paso, <br />Tex., and <br />Milwaukee Wis., etc. <br />He has <br />put together a vision and a <br />plan Thftich <br />he will unveil to the <br />public <br />this morning.
