NEW BUSYNESS (Cont.) <br />a. conuinuea... <br />Q <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />'Commission approved Resolution No. 882 <br />correctirxj inadvertent errors in the <br />ass arnnent of resolution numbers. <br />Ms. Robinson explained that Harbor Metal <br />TreAting has proposed to purchase <br />Disposition Parcel No. 14, located <br />adjacent to their present property in <br />Monroe Park. Christman construction is <br />loatted on the other side of the parcel. <br />In 1982 the Commission had that parcel <br />appraised and offered it for $2,575. <br />Both Harbor Metal and Christman <br />Comstruction were interested in the <br />paxtel on a speculative basis. The <br />Commission decided not to sell the parcel <br />for either proposed speculative use. <br />it Metal has now approached the <br />ssion requesting to purchase the <br />I for expansion of their facility. <br />plan to expand their present 22,000 <br />e foot building to 31,000 square <br />The appraisals for the property have been <br />up&tted to a new value of $5,400. Harbor <br />MetxLl has sent a letter offering to <br />puntume the parcel for $5,400. <br />Christman Construction was contacted <br />about their interest in the parcel and <br />have no use for it at this time.
