South Berms I Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meoting - May 26, 1989 <br />6. <br />a. <br />b. <br />Kolata noted that Rick Pitts had <br />L working with Pat Brown, the <br />icipal of SiteScapes, to redesign the <br />: area in front of the Morris Civic <br />torium, to make it more accessible to <br />public and to allow a better view of <br />front of the Morris Civic. <br />noted that Mr. Broom has done a <br />;iderable amount of preliminary design <br />: to date as a connunity service and <br />loses to take it to a final design <br />e for a cost of $750. He will work <br />L the Redevelopment Staff and Center <br />Associates, as well as the Park <br />xtment, to complete the design. <br />Mr. Wolf expressed appreciation for the <br />f consulting work Mr. Brawn has done <br />to this point. Mr. Wolf also noted that <br />Clark Equipment has offered to donate a <br />mature, living Christmas tree to be <br />planted in that location, but it did not <br />make sense to have that planted until the <br />pEu*k was redesigned. <br />Mr Brown noted that he appreciated the <br />opportunity to be of service to the <br />Qxmission and to South Bend. He has <br />recently gone into business for himself <br />arxi would like the Commission to become <br />ac6uainted with his work. <br />Llpon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by CCNMSSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the SUBMITTED BY SITESCAPES FOR <br />Ccmmission approved the proposal DESIGN SERVICE'S IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />sigirnitted by SiteScapes for design CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />seavices in the South Bend Central <br />De el=nent Area. <br />-3- <br />
