Continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the SUBORDINATION AI;F� ENT WITH <br />Ccmmission approved the Subordination TEAC= CREDIT UNION FOR <br />A eement with Teachers Credit Union for PROPERTY LOCATED AT 128 -130 S. <br />prcperty located at 128 -130 S. Laurel LAUREL STREET <br />S t. Ms. Auburn abstained from <br />vo roes. <br />Mr. W es asked if the staff had met with the <br />owner c f the Opelika Building to see what his <br />plans I or the building are. Mrs. Kolata <br />responc ed that the staff had met with the <br />owner z pproximately two weeps ago. The owner <br />in:1icated that he has plans for the building <br />and they should be completed by the end of <br />March. <br />Ms. Aub= <br />noted that the Commission has <br />receivel <br />numerous complaints from businesses <br />in the <br />area about the condition of this <br />buildinj. <br />The developer has owned the <br />buil <br />for approximately five years and the <br />Commiss'on <br />believes it is time to intervene <br />to <br />e that something positive happens on <br />that U <br />M Via- _ 114 D# :o 01410 <br />Mr. Payie asked about the plans for the West QUESTIONS ON WEST WASHINGTON PLAN <br />W on Street area. He is a property <br />owner ii the area targeted for demolition. <br />He liver, in Detroit and indicated that he had <br />not h anything about the Commission's <br />intentions until a month ago. <br />Mrs. Ko ata explained that the Commission has <br />not yet had a presentation on the <br />Conprehensive Plan for the West <br />Wa on /Chapin area. This presentation <br />will be made at the next meeting of the <br />Commiss on, planned for the evening of April <br />13, 1989. The public will have opportunity <br />to ccmment on the Plan during that meeting. <br />She noted that there has been an active <br />neighbo -hood group working on this Plan for <br />more a year.
