Coritinued... <br />C. <br />awarded the bid for the office building. <br />ThEy had included plans for these parcels <br />in that bid and knew they would be <br />required to compete in a public bid for <br />thE se parcels. <br />Kolata also noted that the <br />truction schedule for the office <br />ding had been revised frc m a start <br />of February 1989, completion date <br />ber 1989, to a start date of April <br />completion date May 1, 1990. The <br />.y is due to the tenant not being <br />ing to make an announcement about the <br />ect. <br />Mr. Nimtz asked for a staff <br />recommendation. Mrs. Kolata responded <br />that the staff feels that the <br />Nil /Washington Associates project is an <br />inp rtant one for the area and it is <br />critical that they have the necessary <br />parcing for the 36,000 sq. ft. project. <br />She indicated that the staff <br />r tion is to award to Niles/ <br />Was iington Associates. Mrs. Kolata <br />not Bd, however, that the staff liked the <br />pro sal from J & J Properties and would <br />likB to work with them to find another <br />sui le location in the East Bank area <br />for their office. <br />Upo a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by COMMISSION AWARDED THE BID FOR <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the PARCELS E9 -8a & E9 -8B AND E9 -14 <br />Coin nission awarded the bid for parcels AND E9 -15 TO NILES/WASHINGTON <br />E9-3a and E9 -8b and E9 -14 and E9 -15 to ASSOCIATES <br />Nil Avenue Associates for the proposed <br />use at the offered price of $30,325.00. <br />Mrs <br />6.d <br />the <br />Kolata explained that items 6.c., <br />6.e., and 6.f. are all requests to <br />Portage Township Assessor to reassess <br />-7- <br />
