Commission authorized the publication of Notice of Intended Sale of Disposition Parcels E9 -14, E9 -15, E9 -8a, and E9 -8b in the South Bend Central Development Area wil h publication dates to be February 3 and February 10, 1989, and receipt of bics to be at 10:00 a.m. on February 20, Mr. Bobby Newbill, representing a group of people from the West Washington -Mapin Revitalization area who oppose the WWCRP's proposed Development Plan, stated that he had a signed petition to turn over the Commission showing that there was still not agreement in the community about which alternative plan was best for the West Washington area. He brought with him a number of people to speak against demolition of the 1200 -1300 blocks of West Washington. Mr. Owlsley indicated that he would prefer to make his statement after the has made its recommendation. Mr. Nimtz indicated that they would be welcome back at any time to make their presentation. Mr. N' recognized Mrs. Eugenia Braboy, represe iting the WWCRP. Mrs. Braboy also wishedto reserve her comments until the Comprehensive Plan is presented to the Commiss'on. She asked that the Commission be fair open minded about the proposed plan.
