It has never been the intention of <br />Redevelopment Commission to operate <br />parking garage. Although the garage <br />at ccutpleted, we have begun to <br />:ive requests for information on how <br />eserve parking spaces when it is <br />ilete. We would like to be able to <br />blish a process for these requests. <br />Agreement assigns that <br />onsibility to the Board of Public <br />s for twenty and one -half years, or <br />1 the bond is paid in full. The <br />d of Public Works will likely turn <br />the day - to-day operations of the <br />ge to the Parking Bureau. <br />Thi r, Agreement provides for public access <br />to the garage by having the Board of <br />woz cs responsible for putting up a sign <br />on a site indicating where to call for <br />par cuxj space information, to advertise <br />gh legal notices that parking spaces <br />are available, and outlines a procedure <br />for receiving applications for parking <br />Agreement allows the Board of Public <br />,s to enter into month-to-month <br />racts with people who wish to rent <br />ing spaces. The rental fee is <br />reed by the City Ordinance currently <br />Mrs Kolata noted that the Commission <br />will continue to receive the revenues <br />from, the garage, which will be deposited <br />into two accounts for maintenance of the <br />facility and payment of debt service, <br />acCOrdinq to Resolution No. 847. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. CaThs, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />C=iission approved the Operating <br />Agreement for the St. JosepWWayne <br />Parking Facility. <br />-3- <br />
