NEW BU.5= (Cont.) <br />7. <br />g. cor1rinuea... <br />Mr. Nimtz thanked Ms. Derbeck for her <br />diligent coverage of the Cc mnission's <br />activities over the last years and stated <br />that the Commission would miss her. He <br />noted that there was cake available after <br />tho meeting. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Caamission approved Resolution No. 863 <br />honoring Jeanne Derbeck upon her <br />Mr. Wolf introduced his assistant, Rebecca <br />Neiswender, who has been with Center City <br />Associates for more than a year, but has not <br />had previous opportunity to attend a <br />Ccarmnis ion meeting. <br />Mr. Gilbert, representing the West <br />Washington-Chapin Revitalization Project and <br />South Bend Heritage Foundation, offered to <br />answer any questions regarding the <br />com=cation from Ben Tyler which was read <br />earli in the meeting. <br />Mr. Do oho asked Mr. Gilbert when the <br />Camprekensive plan would be ready for the <br />Commission. Mr. Gilbert responded that the <br />Plan skould be ready by the first of the <br />year- <br />Mr. Nmbill noted that subsequent to Mr. <br />Tyler's letter, the WKCRP agreed to consider <br />a red elopment plan which would be submitted <br />by the minority commercial property owners of <br />the 12 0 -1300 block of West Washington. That <br />plan not yet been submitted. <br />Mr. Mac inot asked where the money for the <br />appraiE als would came from if the bond issue <br />is defc ated. Mrs. Kolata responded that the <br />CdmidsE ion would not order more appraisals <br />than cc uld be paid for out of the 1989 <br />Redev cpment Administration budget. <br />-9- <br />oil <br />
