The staff would like <br />scmie flexibility in the authorization <br />to do the necessary amount of testing. <br />Mr. Pocius noted that the Ken Davis <br />exTects to have the Transwestern work <br />done within thirty days. The soils <br />and ground water testing should be <br />ccmiDlete within six weeks. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Combs, seconded <br />by Mr. Piasecki and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission authorized <br />sta ff to enter into a Contract for <br />Prc fessional Services with Ken E. <br />Davis and Associates and with EIS for <br />Environmental Assessment of the <br />Transwestern Building and city -owned <br />environs thereof, not to exceed $6,500 <br />between the two contracts. <br />Mrs. Kclata noted that the Human Resources <br />and Economic Development Committee of the <br />Common Council is considering changes to <br />the Tax Abatement Ordinance. The next <br />Committee meeting is September 15th at <br />3:30.
