Section 21-07.01 <br />Landscape Regulations <br />ingress/egress, loading or drop-off zones, foundation landscaping areas maybe <br />aggregated into one or more locations along or abutting such building elevation. <br />(5) Relationship to Buildings -Foundation landscaping areas shall be located: <br />(i) adjacent to the building; or, (ii) so as to begin within fifteen (15) feet of the <br />building (i.e., to allow for a walkway or similar improvements adjacent to the <br />building). <br />(d) Interior Off-Street Parking Area Landscaping. <br />All new surface, off-street parking areas containing thirty (30) parking spaces or more <br />and all expanded surface off-street parking areas which are increased by thirty (30) <br />parking spaces or more, whether such increase occurs at one (1) time or in successive <br />stages, shall be subject to the following regulations: <br />(1) All such off-street parking areas shall include at least one (1) required interior <br />landscape island for every fifteen (15) parking spaces (or fraction thereof), or <br />five-thousand (5,000) square feet ofoff-street parking area, whichever yields the <br />greater number. <br />(2) Each required interior landscape island shall measure a minimum of eight feet by <br />eighteen feet (8' X 18'). <br />(3) Each required interior landscape island shall contain a minimum of one (1) <br />deciduous shade tree, one (1) deciduous ornamental tree or one (1) evergreen tree. <br />(4) Interior landscape islands shall be located at the end of parking bays so as to <br />define vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns. <br />(5) All trees shall comply with the size at time of planting as indicated in Table 21- <br />07.01 - B: Minimum Size at Time of Planting. <br />(ti) Area devoted to interior landscape islands shall be in addition to any required <br />perimeter yard landscaping, foundation landscaping or parking area screening <br />required by this Section 21-07.01. <br />~ , <br />,:E <br />Ord.
