Co. <br />elopment Commission <br />- February 12, 1988 <br />(Cont.) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Petition had <br />been filed with the Board of Zoning <br />Appeals by the February 10 deadline. The <br />Petition asks for permission to build <br />81'x--7-L' 2' parking spaces instead of 9'x20' <br />required. Walker Parking Consultants has <br />indicated that this has been acceptable <br />in other communities given the downsized <br />nature of cars recently and where low <br />turnover is expected in the garage. <br />Because we expect most of the parkers to <br />be there all day, low turnover is <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals hearing on this petition <br />will be February 25 and Walker Parking <br />Consultants will be here to testify on <br />our behalf. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission ratified the Petition to the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals regarding size of <br />parking spaces in garage to be located at <br />121 . Wayne Street. <br />7. PROGRESSIREPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Bond Sale on <br />February 8 was very successful. There <br />were seven bids, all very competitive. <br />The lowest interest rate was 7.08294 %. <br />The closing will be in Indianapolis <br />within the next two weeks. <br />8.
