Co 'ssion approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 812 authorizing <br />reinbursement to the City of South Bend <br />for expenditures made within the Rum <br />Vil age Industrial Park. (Acquisition of <br />Mr. Hunt explained items 6 c. and 6 d. <br />together. He noted that both are <br />associated with the Mastic expansion and <br />the extension of a public street to the <br />project area. The City secured funding <br />from the State in the amount of $320,000 <br />($1150,000 as a grant and $160,000 as a <br />five year loan from State Economic <br />Development funds). The $320,000 will be <br />usel for acquisition of property, <br />construction of a road, and the related <br />drainage and sewer lines to run to the <br />Mastic property so that Mastic could then <br />build a 125,000 s.f. addition to their <br />factory and bring on 60 new employees and <br />four new production lines. Resolution <br />No. 812 would allow the Commission to <br />reiinburse the City of South Bend <br />Department of Economic Development for <br />the acquisition of property with Civil <br />City funds in the amount of $15,080.58 <br />for the acquisition of right -of -way <br />-11- <br />
