South Bend edevelopment Commission
Regular Mee ing - May 22, 1987
4 COMMUNISATIONS (Cont.)
a. Continued...
We would like to proceed with our own
project on the site at the southwest
corner, since Combined has indicated no
interest on that project. We are ready,
willing and able to proceed on that site
in ccordance with the conditions
pre iously established by the
Red velopment Commission. That is:
A. We are willing to pay $115,750.
B. the building will be in excess of
5,000 square feet.
C. Ill parking will be taken care of with
an on -site parking structure, ramp or
access to the St. Joseph garage. In
he event Combined Capital's project
does not proceed, I would assume the
access to that garage would be
available to us as it appears to be to
hem. In any case, no federal funds
ill be required for parking.
D. Jur project should be under
onstruction within a year from date
f contract.
Jon, I ould very much appreciate having this
placed cn the next meeting agenda of the
Department of Redevelopment. We want to move
ahead as quickly as possible in our planning
process.
Sincerely,
John T. IPhair
cc: Mr. Paul Dodson
Ma or Roger Parent
Mr. F. J.
