While there have been <br />so e improvements in the area, the <br />si uation generally has not changed. <br />Th Findings of Fact, Exhibit A to <br />Re olution No. 764, are entered into the <br />re lord and are attached. <br />Up n a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Combs and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 801 <br />re declaring the Studebaker Corridor <br />Development Area to be blighted as <br />de ined by the Tax Reform Act of 1986. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Hult reported that the work on <br />Michig n Street is on schedule. <br />He rep rted that the University of <br />Michigan consultants for Studebaker <br />Corridor are in town and meeting with the <br />staff. They should have a preliminary <br />report soon. <br />Mr. Ni tz noted that the Mayor's <br />Confer nce on Historic Preservation will <br />be May 4. Mr. Hunt will be taking part <br />in the panel discussion. <br />Mr. Ni tz announced that the Executive <br />Sessio would reconvene immediately <br />follow'ng adjournment of the public <br />meetin . <br />8.
