Continued... <br />Mr. Nimtz expressed doubt that the <br />Com fission would reach a decision by the <br />Apr '1 24 Commission meeting. <br />d. Com ission approval requested for an <br />Ame dment to Contract for Sale of Land <br />for Private Development with Raintree <br />Poi at Associates. <br />Mr. Hunt explained that the purpose of <br />this amendment is to change the schedule <br />dat s on the contract. The developer has <br />triad to obtain a $200,000,000 financing <br />package for 13 major projects, this <br />project being one of them. He has <br />finally succeeded, approximately one year <br />behind the original schedule. The new <br />sch Jule proposes that the closing be <br />April 28, 1987, submission of <br />arc itectural and site plans for the <br />project to the Commission's Design Review <br />Com ittee be May 22, and start of <br />con truction July 7, 1987. <br />Upoi a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Com ission approved the Amendment to <br />Con ract for Sale of Land with Raintree <br />Poi it Associates. <br />e. Com ission approval requested for <br />Der etual easement from the Salvation <br />Mr. Hunt noted that the Salvation Army is <br />expanding at their present location. The <br />sta f has requested an easement to <br />lan scape and buffer the north side <br />(fa ing Monroe Street) of the property. <br />Mr. Nimtz noted that he serves on the <br />Sal ation Army Board of Directors and, <br />the efore, disqualified himself from <br />par icipation in the decision.
