For regularly assigned firefighters who meet <br /> the requirements of the Fire Department's Dive Team: <br /> 1994 1995 1996 <br /> $643 $660 $670 <br /> 3. Medical Specialty Pays: <br /> (i) Paramedics 3 years+. For regularly assigned firefighters <br /> who are qualified and certified to perform paramedic duties and have been <br /> performing as paramedics or reserve paramedics for the department for the <br /> three (3) previous full years or more of service: <br /> 1995 1996 <br /> $2,200 $2,400 <br /> (ii) Paramedics. For regularly assigned firefighters who <br /> are qualified and certified to perform paramedic duties: <br /> 1994 1995 1996 <br /> $1,415 $1,850 $2,000 <br /> (iii) Reserve Paramedics. For qualified and certified 24- <br /> hour firefighters who are assigned to perform duties of an active paramedic <br /> on an as needed basis when determined necessary by the Fire Chief or his <br /> designee: <br /> 1994 1995 1996 <br /> $425 $775 $800 <br /> (iv) Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT). <br /> For firefighters who are certified and qualified to provide advanced life <br /> support (ALS) care: <br /> 1995 1996 <br /> $600 $650 <br /> (v) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). For <br /> firefighters who are certified to provide basic life support (BLS) treatment: <br /> 1994 1995 1996 <br />
