ORDINANCE NO. 8 V9/-93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1145 PRAIRIE AVENUE <br /> IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46613 <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordinance is commonly <br /> known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the <br /> same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following <br /> described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of <br /> Indiana. <br /> A parcel of land being a part of the North Half of Section 14, Township <br /> 37 North, Range 2 East, City of South Bend, Portage Township, St. Joseph <br /> County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly right-of-way line <br /> of Prairie Avenue with the South right-of-way line of Garst Street in said <br /> City, said intersection being the most Northeasterly corner of a parcel of <br /> land Quit-Claimed to Metal Resources Corporation by Penn Central Corporation <br /> in document numbered 8103153 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph <br /> County, Indiana; thence South 28-06'-58" West, along said Westerly right- <br /> of-way line of Prairie Avenue, a distance of 50.99 feet to a South line <br /> of said Metal Resources Parcel; thence South 28-16'-39" West, along said <br /> Westerly right-of-way line, a distance of 181.30 feet; thence North 89-46'- <br /> 31" West, parallel with said South right-of-way line of Garst Street, a <br /> distance of 473.30 feet to a point on the East line of the Northwest <br /> Quarter of said Section 14; thence North 0-10'-40" East, along said East <br /> line, a distance of 205.07 feet to a point on said South right-of-way line <br /> of Garst Street, extended; thence South 89-46'-31" East, along said South <br /> right-of-way line, a distance of 582.58 feet to the place of beginning <br /> containing 2.486 acres more or less. <br /> Subject to any easements, covenants or restrictions of record. <br /> be and the same is hereby established as: Heavy Industrial E.
