PERSONNEL AND FINANCE <br />The March 24, 2008 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee of the South Bend <br />Common Council was called to order by its Chairperson, Councilmember Tom LaFountain at 4:25 <br />p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room. <br />Persons in attendance included Council Members Varner, Oliver Davis; Roger Hamburg, Citizen <br />Member, Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney, John Voorde, City Clerk <br />BILL NO.82-07 <br />Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand, Council Attorney noted a letter from the City's Legal Department <br />requesting a continuance of Bill 82-07 until April 14, 2008 was received. Chairperson LaFountain <br />acknowledged he receipt. Council Member Varner made a motion, seconded by Council Member <br />LaFountain to accept the request to continue. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Gary Gilot made a brief presentation noting an RFP to tape Council meetings had been <br />developed, published and been responded to by 2 responsible bidders. WNIT has agreed to <br />continue the service under terms of the original contract until Council reviews the responses and <br />a decision is made. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Councilmember Tom LaFountain <br />adjourned the meeting at 4:30 p.m. <br />ly <br />iFou¢~hairperson <br />nel and Finance Committee <br />
