A certified copy of Resolution No. 1440 -86 of the Common Council of the City of South Bend relative to the subject of the Public Hearing. A copy of Resolution No. 786 of the Redevelopment Commission with a copy of the Development Plan attached. As of 10:00 a.m., October 10, 1986, no written remonstrances were received. rn received the various documents and them entered into the record. Mr. Hunt explained that Resolution No. 783 expands the Rum Village Industrial park to include an eleven acre parcel of land which includes the present Mastic plant. Mr Hunt then read into the record the Rum Vii age Industrial Park Finding of Facts dated Oct ber 10, 1986: The South Bend Redevelopment Commission has conducted a study of the Rum Village Industrial Park (Area) and has found that the Area is blighted to an extent that cannot be cor ected by regulatory processes or by the ordinary operations of private enterprise without resort to the Indiana Redevelopment Law, IC 36- 7 -14 -1, et. seq.
