Hunt <br />Executive Director <br />Department of Redevelopment <br />1200 County -City Building <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />RE: IStanley Coveleski Regional Stadium <br />Dearl Jon: <br />At its meeting held on July 29, 1986, the <br />Board of Public Works accepted for filing the <br />July 25, 1986 letter which you submitted on <br />behalf of the Redevelopment Commission <br />requesting that the Board of Public Works <br />proc ed t oward the contracts for the <br />conc ete and steel construction work to permit <br />the nitiation of construction of the Stanley <br />Cove eski Regional Stadium at this time. <br />Additionally, the Board acknowledges the <br />avai ablility of $600,000.00 in proceeds of <br />the Redevelopment District Tax Increment <br />Revenue Bonds of 1985 to permit the award of <br />the above referred to contracts. <br />For your information, the $600,000.00 in bond <br />proceeds will be reimbursed to the <br />Redevelopment Commission at the time of the <br />closing on the Lease Purchase Agreement with <br />Security Pacific National Bank. <br />On <br />the <br />the <br />this <br />=half of the Board, I would like to thank <br />2edevelopment Commission for the use of <br />)ond proceeds which enables the City to <br />?ed on the baseball stadium project at <br />time. <br />Sincerely, <br />Board of Public Works <br />John E.
