South Bend R development Commission Special Meeting - May 16, 1986 3. NEW a. Commission approval requested for Joint Resolution No. 774 of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission and the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend. Ms. Schwartz explained that the Commission has previously prepared an acquisition list inclLiding parcels within the South Bend Central Development Area used as part of the Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium. The acquisition process has been completed for the Stadium. Joint Resolution No. 774 is necessary under State law for one public body to c nvey property to another public body. As part of this Resolution the Commission is also agreeing to provide demolition and excavation for the property as part of the site prep3ration which is permissible under Redevelopment law. The Commission is conveying a group of parcels to the Park Department. The Park Board will review the Joint Resolution No. 774 to complete the process by accepting the properties. After approval, deeds will be prepared to complete the onvevance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by Mr. Corrbs and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Joint Resolution No. 774 of t e South Bend Redevelopment Commission and the Board of Park Commissioners of the Park Dist ict of the City of South Bend. 4. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING a The next Regular Meeting of the Commission will be eld on Friday, May 23, 1986 at 10:00 a.m. There being no further business to come before the Commission, Mr. Donoho made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Combs seconded the motion and it was unanimously carried. The meeting was adjourned at 5:20 p.m. . on R.
