Coritinued.. . <br />WHEREAS, some people demonstrate their <br />co cern by personal involvement in the process <br />of seeking solutions; and <br />WHEREAS, a very few people are both <br />wi Zing and able to bring a degree of <br />dedication and leadership that culminates in <br />real measurable progress enriching the life of <br />the community; and <br />WHEREAS,.Janet S. Holston has shown such <br />le dership by honorably serving as Director of <br />th Bureau of Housing since 1982; and <br />WHEREAS, under her direction the Bureau <br />of Housing has continued to administer housing <br />Pr grams to the citizens of South Bend; and <br />WHEREAS, during her tenure the quality of <br />life of the residents of South Bend has <br />improved as a result of the contributions of <br />he time, knowledge, good _judgement and <br />steadfast efforts. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the <br />So th Bend Redevelopment Commission, that the <br />name of Janet S. Holston be engraved in the <br />minutes of this meeting in commendation of her <br />di igent and dedicated efforts, and let it be <br />known that the Commission's good wishes go <br />with her. <br />Adopted at a Regular Meeting of the South <br />Be id Redevelopment Commission, held on March <br />14 1986 at the Office of the Commission, 1200 <br />Co my -City Building, 227 West Jefferson <br />Bo levard, South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Co scion approved Resolution No. 722 <br />commending Janet S. Holston for meritorious <br />se ice to the Bureau of Housing. <br />Mr Nimtz presented the Resolution to Ms. <br />Holston. Mr. Nimtz noted that it was great <br />working with Ms. Holston and the Commission <br />will miss working with her. <br />-7- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 722 COMMENDING <br />JANET S.
