BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. t `kktg -� <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $366,237 WITHIN FUND 212 FOR THE <br /> PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> Statement of Purpose and Intent: <br /> In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of <br /> community resources, the Department of Community & Economic <br /> Development has entered into contracts to provide staff and <br /> administrative support for various not-for-profit organizations and <br /> programs. These revenues are the basis for the administrative budget <br /> and need to be appropriated for that use. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> SECTION I. The sum of $366,237 is hereby appropriated to Fund <br /> 212 from the following sources: <br /> Business Development Corporation staff contract $97, 000 <br /> Urban Enterprise Association staff contract 85, 000 <br /> Industrial Revolving Fund staff contract 39, 520 <br /> Neighborhood Business Development Corp staff contract 15, 000 <br /> Tax Abatement Fees 9,450 <br /> Property Management Fees 37, 500 <br /> HOPE III Program 21, 304 <br /> HOME Program 10, 000 <br /> Mishawaka staff contract 5, 000 <br /> Corporation for Entrepreneurial Dev. staff contract 18,900 <br /> Construction Co. staff contract 7,563 <br /> Community Homebuyers Corporation 20, 000 <br /> TOTAL $366,237 <br /> SECTION II.
