ORDINANCE NO. g46(0- � <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> APPROPRIATING $5,345.00 FROM THE <br /> EAST BANK TRAIL FUND (FUND NO. 402) <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The East Bank Trail Fund (Fund No. 402) was established for <br /> the purpose of funding the maintenance and repair of the East <br /> Bank Trail in the City of South Bend. Erosion of a portion of <br /> the Trail near Niles Avenue and Corby Boulevard requires the <br /> construction of a retaining wall system at that area and other <br /> measures designed to prevent further erosion. The Common Council <br /> has determined it is in the best interest of the City of South <br /> Bend to appropriate sufficient funds from the East Bank Trail <br /> Fund to allow these repairs to be made. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I. The following sum of money is hereby <br /> appropriated and ordered set apart from and within the East Bank <br /> Trail Fund (Fund No. 402) for erosion control repairs to the East <br /> Bank Trail near Niles Avenue and Corby Boulevard: <br /> Account No. Description Amount <br /> 402.1101.452.42.01 Capital Improvements/Land $5,345. 00 <br /> Section II.
