All of which leads to a <br />definite feeling that you may purposely be <br />being kept in the dark! <br />Yours for more informative meetings <br />Janet Allen <br />Mr. Ni z explained that the Commission is <br />involvel in a number of .projects and when <br />negotiating with people a great deal of the <br />information is confidential. So there are a <br />lot of things that cannot be revealed until a <br />final decision is made. The Commission does <br />the best it can and always allows opportunity <br />for questions to be asked. The Commission <br />does however have to stay within the <br />guideli es of what can be revealed according <br />to HUD nd other legal concepts. <br />Mr. Rick Pitts gave an overview of the three <br />bids received for the L. Keen building in <br />Monroe Park on March 23, 1985. The minimum <br />bid price was $20,300. A bid was received <br />from T. Brooks Brademas in the amount of <br />$20,500 with a proposed use of first floor <br />ccmmerc al use and second floor residential. <br />A bid was received from Colonial Caterers of <br />Mid-America in the amount of $26,509.77 with a <br />proposed use as a deli and gourmet shop for <br />the first floor with meeting and conference <br />rooms om the second floor. A bid was also <br />received from Keen Investments in the amount <br />of $33,320 for a proposed use of office space <br />on the first and second floor. <br />Commiss on anticipates making a decision on <br />award of the bid on April 26, 1985. <br />8.
