Commission approval requested for the 1985 <br />lines. <br />Ms. Janet Holston explained that these <br />guidelines reflected changes in the Urban <br />Homesteading Program at the national level. <br />The new guidelines clarify some of the <br />language used. It also gives priority to <br />applicants who pay more than 30% of their <br />adj sted household income for shelter, reside <br />in substandard rental conditions and have no <br />hope of improved housing through means other <br />than Homesteading. The Bureau of Housing is <br />wor ing with HUD on how this priority will be <br />car ied out through a random drawing. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ar. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the 1985 Urban Homestead <br />qui elines. <br />d. Commission approval rffEested for Owners <br />Certificate of the Mill Race Subdivision. <br />Ric Pitts explained that the replat was a <br />tec ical legal step for preparation of future <br />disoosition of the Mill Race site. The replat <br />co ines the various parcels into Parcel 1 <br />whi h Redevelopment owns and Parcel 2 which <br />the Park Department owns.
