South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - March 22, 1985 <br />7. PROGRES3 REPORTS (font.) <br />Mr. Ke eth Inwood raised a question on.the <br />Michig and Western site as a possible <br />locatio for TRANSPO. Mr. Inwood stated that <br />there were some concerns of Inwoods with <br />traffic flow and other items if TRANSPO were <br />to localte there. <br />Mr. Hunt explained that there was some <br />confusion on the proposed locations. <br />originally there were fifteen alternate sites <br />discussed with TRANSPO. Out of those fifteen <br />there were five that TRANSPO considered to be <br />possible locations. Mr. Hunt explained that <br />he dis ssed the recommendation of the <br />Michigm and Western location strictly on a <br />staff level. It was just in the discussion <br />stage d nothing further. It was never <br />brouaht to the Commission or TRANSPO. <br />Mrs. J# et Allen expressed that the riders <br />have c cern over a different transfer site <br />than t present site. <br />Mr. Nimtz noted that TRANSPO has been very <br />cooperative during the negotiation process. <br />He stated that the Redevelopment Commission <br />will be trying to reach a decision on this <br />issue that is best for South Bend for today <br />and th next five to ten years. <br />8. NEXT COMMIISSION MEETING <br />0 <br />Mr. Nintz noted that the Conanission will <br />reconvene into Executive Session immediately <br />following this meeting. <br />The next Regular Meeting of the Commission <br />will held on Friday, April 12, 1985 at <br />10:00 .m. <br />There being no further business to come before <br />the Co omission, Mr. Piasecki made a motion <br />that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Donoho <br />seconded the motion and it was unanimously <br />carried. The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 <br />a.m. <br />NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />Pres ent on R.
