Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />ComTlssion <br />approved a contract in the amount <br />$1,360.00 FOR HANKS ENTERPRIZE <br />of $1,360.00 <br />for Hanks Enterprize for a house <br />FOR A HOUSE AT 822 E. <br />at 822 <br />E. Milton. <br />MILTON <br />c. Co <br />ssion approval requested for a lease with <br />Carrmunique <br />Advertising, Inc., for property <br />located <br />at 115 W. Colfax Avenue. <br />Mr. Hunt <br />explained that this was part of the <br />rehabilitation <br />project of the old Sonneborn <br />building <br />for the public relations firm of <br />Sheffer <br />Advertising Agency. The Commission <br />previously <br />sold Sheffer a lot behind the <br />building <br />to be incorporated into the project. <br />TherE <br />is a need for an additional strip of <br />land <br />to help with the parking lot design. <br />What <br />the staff is proposing to the Commission <br />is a <br />lease for a 10' foot strip of land to <br />Communique <br />Advertising, Inc. It would be a <br />two-year <br />lease at a $1.00 per year with three <br />one-year <br />renewable options. Communique <br />Advertising <br />would have total operation, <br />maintenance, <br />and insurance responsibilities on <br />that <br />strip, and they will also leave the lot <br />open <br />in the evenings for public parking <br />assocated <br />i <br />with Morris Civic events. <br />Ms. Schwartz explained that the lease includes <br />a provision that completion be in conformity <br />with the schedule on the building project. <br />The lease will also state that Communique <br />Advertising will include the Redevelopment <br />Ccmmi sion on their insurance policy for that <br />10' s rip of land. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Piasecki, seconded COMMISSION APPROVED A LEASE <br />by Mr. Donaldson and unanimously carried, the WITH COMMUNIQUE ADVERTISING, <br />Commission approved a lease with Communique INC., FOR PROPERTY LOCATED <br />Advertising, Inc., for property located at 115 AT 115 W.
