NEW <br />elopment Commission <br />- October 12, 1984 <br />of bid opening of September 24, 1984, <br />e to Disposition Parcels 4 -42, 4 -43 and <br />: of 4 -44 in the Central Downtown Urban <br />1 Area, R -66. <br />One bid was submitted by Teachers Credit Union <br />in the amount of the minimum bid price. Ms. <br />Schwartz explained that a parking garage will <br />be built on this parcel by Redevelopment. The <br />lease provides for rental to Teachers Credit <br />Union for an annual rental payment of $28,740 <br />witi an option to purchase the garage for <br />$912,000 with all amounts of rental paid to <br />date to go towards the purchase price. Under <br />the terms of the lease Teachers Credit Union <br />wou d have the ability to sub -lease spaces in <br />the garage to its main office building <br />tenants. During non - business hours the upper <br />level of the garage will be open for public <br />parking. All terms of the lease have been <br />agreed upon and it is ready for execution by <br />the Conunission. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Comaission awarded the bid of September 24, <br />1984, relative to Disposition Parcels 4 -42, <br />4 -4 and part of 4 -44 in the Central Downtown <br />Urhm Renewal Area, R -66, to Teachers Credit <br />Union and approved the Lease Agreement with <br />Purchase Option. <br />a.
